Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson was a no-show for the first day of voluntary workouts. Entering the final year of his rookie contract signed in 2019, Johnson is believed to be seeking a new contract but he wrote on his Twitter that you shouldn’t believe it if you read that he is holding out. He said if reporters don’t have a story, they’re going to make one up.
The Steelers have not commented on who did or did not appear for the voluntary workouts’ first day.
