One person was killed in an ATV accident on Sunday in Armstrong Township.
State Police say the victim, a 21-year-old Shelocta man, was riding his Yamaha YZF 450 ATV North on Ramer Road around 3:00 PM on April 17th when he lost control of the ATV on the gravel roadway. The vehicle overturned and the man was thrown from the vehicle.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Indiana County Coroner Jerry Overman, Jr. The victim’s name has been withheld as authorities are still notifying next-of-kin. State Police and the Coroner’s Office were assisted on scene by Citizens’ Ambulance and Elderton Fire Department.
