The Buildings, Grounds, & Transportation Committee of the Indiana Area School Board tonight will review the latest design plans for the renovations to the Eisenhower Elementary School, which was severely damaged in a fire that happened a year ago last Saturday.
The update will cover building schematics, HVAC, and the size of the gymnasium.
Other discussion items include the East Pike renovation project, the potential uses for Horace Mann Elementary after Eisenhower reopens, the auctioning of excess furniture and equipment, and the paving bids for the Ben Franklin Elementary Outdoor Classroom.
The Audit & Finance Committee is also scheduled to meet tonight, with discussion of the 2022-23 budget on its agenda. Preliminary budget approval is scheduled for the full board at the May 9th meeting. The committee will also review the figures for the annual Chromebook purchase.
The Buildings, Grounds, & Transportation Committee meets at 5:30. Audit & Finance meets at 6:30.
