Emergency crews were called out a few times on Easter Sunday, mainly to assist other fire companies in other counties.
Indiana County 911 reports that there were three calls for service yesterday for fire crews. The first was reported at 3:23 AM for a structure fire at a property on Clark Street in Westmoreland County. Clyde Volunteer Fire Department and Citizens Ambulance were dispatched to help at the scene. A similar call was made for East Main Street in Clearfield County at 10:41 last night. Cherry Tree and Glen Campbell fire departments were called into Clearfield County for the reported structure fire.
Black Lick and Blairsville fire departments were called out to a vehicle crash Sunday morning at 10:27. The crash was reported on Route 217 North in Burrell Township. Black Lick Volunteer Fire Department officials say the crash happened near the on-ramp for Route 22, and that one of the vehicles involved rolled over. No other details were provided on the crash. State police were also dispatched to the scene. Troopers have not yet issued a report on the incident.
