State Representative Jim Struzzi says a Dauphin County accident last week that claimed the life of an emergency responder is the fifth such tragedy in the state in the last nine months and should call attention to Pennsylvania’s so-called “Move Over” law.
April is the fifth anniversary month of the law, which requires drivers to change lanes or slow down to no more than 20 miles per hour below the posted speed limit when there is a roadside event that calls for police, fire, EMS, tow truck, PennDOT, and other roadside assistance vehicles.
