Indiana County’s Court system has a light schedule today, with only four proceedings on the calendar.
One sentencing hearing is on the schedule today. That sentencing is for 34-year-old Deandre Bumpers of Indiana, who pleaded guilty to charges of impersonating a public servant and criminal use of a communications facility. The charges stemmed from an incident in January of 2015. A sentencing hearing was supposed to happen in 2015, but the hearing had been cancelled and had not been rescheduled until today.
Two hearings are scheduled for today as well. 35-year-old Frank Plummer of Windber will have a hearing today on charges of DUI and summary traffic violations from an incident on June in 2021. Another hearing will be held today for 43-year-old Lawrence Westbrook for a charge of failure to verify his address.
