After a call for a barn fire on Thursday morning, things remained quiet for first responders in Indiana County, except for the Indiana Fire Association.
The 13th brush fire in Indiana County this year so far was reported in White Township as Indiana Fire Association members were dispatched to Cobblestone Drive at 2:07 PM. That call came in about half an hour after the Indiana Fire Association was called out for what was termed a “miscellaneous” call on Grant Street in White Township.
And Indiana firefighters were called out a third time early this morning for a dumpster fire on South 3rd Street in White Township. Indiana Fire association officials said that the dumpster served a cluster of apartments in that area, and that the fire was contained to the dumpster itself.
