On the day Pitt announced a new contract with coach Pat Narduzzi, running through the 2030 season, Narduzzi added a linebacker from the transfer portal to his team.
Former Missouri State linebacker Tylar Wiltz announced on Twitter that he is coming to Pitt. He’ll have one year of eligibility. He’s also played for Southern Arkansas and Independence (Kansas) Community College. Last season, he was named to the Missouri Valley Football All-Conference second team.
Wiltz is the fourth player signed from the transfer portal for Pitt this offseason.
