Indiana Borough Police have charged a man with simple assault and harassment for an incident earlier this week.
Police were dispatched at 9:32 PM on Tuesday to a home in the 1100 block of Philadelphia Street, and police determined that an unnamed woman was visibly injured. The other resident, Mohammed Alalshaikh of Indiana was taken into custody and taken to the Indiana County Jail.
He remains there in lieu of $5000 cash bail, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for March 28th.
