The tenth and eleventh brush fires of the season was reported on Tuesday as part of a busy day for first responders.
The fire was reported at the intersection of Route 286 East and Arcadia Road. Glen Cambell Fire Department was called out at 3:20 PM, with Cherry Tree and Commodore Fire Departments called out 12 minutes later. Details on the cause or how much damage have not been released.
The Indiana Fire Association was called out on Tuesday for a reported structure fire at an apartment on Laurel Street in White Township. Indiana fire companies three and four along with the county hazmat team were called out at 1:50 PM. Fire officials say that the fire was in reality some burning food, and that damage was limited to the stove. Indiana fire crews were also called out at 4:35 PM to a building on South 7th Street in Indiana Borough for reported smoke in the structure. And crews from Indiana Fire Association were also dispatched to Anderson Avenue in Indiana Borough for an automatic fire alarm activation.
And fire crews are busy once again this morning as a brush fire was reported at 7:00 AM along Clark Road in Montgomery Township. Cherry Tree and Commodore Fire Departments were dispatched at that time.
