There was a major upset yesterday at the Elite Eight in Evansville, Indiana. Fortunately, it did not involve IUP. The second seeded Crimson Hawks put it all together in the second half and outpaced Hillsdale, but the tournament’s top seed, previously unbeaten Nova Southeastern, was shocked by number eight Black Hills State, falling 77-67.

IUP will move on to play third seed Augusta, which outran Chico State with a 15-3 outburst in overtime to win their game, 81-69.
In the other game yesterday, two-time defending national champion Northwest Missouri State held Bentley to an all-time Elite Eight low point total in a 61-43 win.
The Final Four matchups tomorrow will feature number two IUP against number three Augusta at 6:30, followed by fifth seeded Northwest Missouri State against number eight Black Hills State.
