IUP football coach Paul Tortorella yesterday announced the hiring of a new offensive coordinator, former Cal U assistant Larry Wilson; and a new wide receivers coach, Brett Brice, who comes to IUP after a stint as a grad assistant with Ohio University.
Wilson was at Cal the last 17 seasons and was the wide receivers coach and special teams coordinator last season. He also spent three seasons as offensive coordinator. He played his college football at Slippery Rock.
Brice worked with Ohio U’s receivers and special teams and led the scout team in weekday practices. He’s an Indiana High graduate who tweeted yesterday that he’s “fired up to be back in (his) hometown!!!”
