After losing three wide receivers to free agency over the weekend, the Steelers yesterday signed former New England wide receiver/kick returner Gunnar Olszewski to a two-year contract. He’s a former All-Pro kick returner after making the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Bemidji State. He played defensive back in college but converted to wide receiver in the pros.

The quarterback carousel continues in the NFL. Atlanta yesterday traded Matt Ryan to the Colts and the Falcons then signed free agent Marcus Mariota from the Raiders. Jameis Winston re-signed with the Saints.
And the broadcasters have been switching chairs. The New York Post reports that Al Michaels is expected to sign on to lead Amazon Prime Video’s Thursday Night Football broadcast team. ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit will be his partner. Michaels is expected to still call a couple of games for NBC this season and Herbstreit will continue to be a part of ESPN’s “College GameDay” and Saturday college games.
