Black Lick and Blairsville fire crews, Citizen’s Ambulance and State Police were on the scene of a two-vehicle accident last night along Old William Penn Highway in Burrell Township.
The crash was reported at 10:10 PM at the intersection with Club Lane. Fire officials found two vehicles with debris encompassing the entire roadway. One person was on the ground. The road was shut down for about an hour and a half last night. A landing zone was set up at IRMC at Chestnut Ridge, and one person was taken to Forbes Hospital by medical helicopter.
State police have not released the identities of those involved.
