The Purchase Line School Board renewed the contract of Superintendent Shawn Ford during Monday night’s meeting.
The new contract is for five years, and will end in June of 2027 and will have a starting salary of $133,000. Ford said he was very appreciative to the board for their confidence in him.
In other business, the board awarded a bid for coal for next school year from RFI Resources, LLC at $148.50 a ton, and accepted a donation of supplies for the district’s Evergreen After-School Program.
