A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held today for a café in Indiana that has a unique location.
Riziki Café will hold its ribbon cutting ceremony today. The café is the brainchild of manager Karen Wolfe, baker Linda Stitt, cook Shawna Montgomery and barrista Chloe Morrow. The café started life originally as part of the New Life Community Church in Indiana Mall, but after stores were closed during the Covid-19 pandemic, the four looked for a new home and have set up shop at the Jimmy Stewart Airport.
Wolfe said that they want to continue the mission of helping people by donating the profits to charity.
The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will be held at 9:00 this morning at the Airport. While the café is at the airport facility, it is open to the public.
