Indiana Borough Police are asking the public to help find a Maryland man wanted for several crimes in the borough from last Saturday.
Police say that on March 5th at 8:16 PM, police pulled over a vehicle driven by 33-year-old Frankie Dovi of Baltimore as the driver activated a device from inside the car to cover up his license plate. The driver then sped away. Officers were able to identify Dovi and they also found out that he is a fugitive wanted in Maryland for several firearms violations.
An arrest warrant is out for Dovi on charges of flight to avoid apprehension, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, obstructing justice, possessing instruments of crime and several summary traffic-related charges. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call police at 724-349-2121.
