The White Township supervisors earlier today approved a few documents concerning the Oakland Avenue Project.
Township Manager Chris Anderson said that the agreements between PennDOT District 10 and the township concerned future maintenance of the sidewalk being installed in the project area and signs for bike lanes, with that responsibility going to the Township once the project is complete. Anderson said that these documents got overlooked during the initial design phases.
The supervisors also approved applying for grants for road painting at 11 traffic signal intersections and a prefabricated restroom for Kennedy King Park.
Anderson also updated the supervisors on the swimming pool ordinance that the township is looking to pass. That is still being worked on by the comprehensive plan steering committee. A draft of the ordinance could come as soon as next month.
