The Penns Manor school board will hold its regular business meeting tonight, and the bleachers at the high school are on the agenda.
The board will look to approve a contract tonight with C. M. Eichenlaub Company to furnish and install Hussey Seating Company parts to the high school bleachers at a cost of $5,880. The board is also set to approve a bid submitted by Pikes Peak Nurseries for the purchase of about 400 tons of top soil at a cost of $5 a ton.
Other business on the agenda includes an adjustment to the school year calendar, making March 18th a regular day for students to make up for classes that were cancelled on January 18th.
Tonight’s meeting starts at 6:00 PM at the District Boardroom and will also be live streamed on the district’s YouTube page. The time was changed from 7:00 PM to 6:00 as members of the board wish to attend the Penns Manor Boy’s Basketball game.
