A miserable season came to an end with a miserable performance by the Pitt Panthers yesterday, as they were clobbered by lowly Boston College in the first round of the ACC Tournament, 66-46.
Pitt led the game, 22-21, with 4:52 left in the first half, but the Eagles launched a 25-4 run from that point after the Panthers’ John Hugley sat down after picking up his second foul. Pitt guard Femi Odukale played only 19 minutes in the game and scored no points. He is likely headed to the transfer portal. Hugley led Pitt with 15 points.
The Panthers finish their season 11-21.
