PITT BASKETBALL
The Pitt Panthers will take on Duke tonight at the Petersen Events Center. Duke can clinch the ACC’s top seed heading into the conference championship tournament next week. It will be coach Mike Krzyzewski’s last trip to Pittsburgh as he looks toward retirement. His final home game at Cameron Indoor Stadium is this Saturday against North Carolina.
Tonight’s game will be on WCCS, FM 101.1 and AM 1160, with the pregame beginning at 7:30.
PITT FOOTBALL
The Pitt football team opened spring practice yesterday. Coach Pat Narduzzi said he is close to agreement on a contract extension, and said his assistants were all “taken care of” with new contracts. Yesterday’s practice was the first for new Pitt offensive coordinator Frank Cignetti Jr.
