The easing of covid-19 restrictions on Friday by the Centers for Disease Control includes mask requirements for students on school buses. Until now, even districts which had no mask mandates in their buildings were still required to have students mask up on buses because of the federal requirements.
The language in the announcement on Friday reads, “Effective February 25th…CDC does not require wearing of masks on buses and vans operated by public or private school systems, including early care and education/child care programs.”
