Today marks the second day of Covid-19 test kit distribution in Indiana County.
The distribution effort was coordinated by the Pennsylvania Department of Health and is targeting communities that they call “vulnerable.” The rapid test kits are approved for emergency use and are free to everyone, regardless of whether or not they are showing symptoms of Covid-19. The tests will be able to deliver results in about 15 minutes.
A limit of four kits is in place to make sure that everyone who wants a test kit can get one. The tests are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The kits will be available at the Indiana County State Health Center at 75 North 2nd Street in Indiana today from 10 to Noon and 1:30 to 3:00.
