Shawn Earl Thomas, 43 of Brush Valley, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022.
He was born October 8, 1978 in Latrobe, PA. He was a 1996 graduate of Derry High School. Shaun was the Vice President of Operations at MAG Unlimited in Bradenville, PA. He was a member of the Derry Rod & Gun Club and St. Joe’s Club in Latrobe. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing, working on cars, spending time with his family and going to camp.
Shaun is survived by his mother, Bill & Nanette Garris, Blairsville, PA; fiance, April Baker, Brush Valley, PA; daughter, Brooklyn Thomas, Latrobe, PA; daughter, Allyson Thomas, Latrobe, PA; son, Evan Thomas, Brush Valley, PA; daughter, Peyton Thomas, Brush Valley, PA; step-daughter and grandson, Lauren Miller & Keenan; brother, Joshua Garris & Becky, Clyde, PA; grandmother, Rosemary Dumont and also numerous Aunt, Uncles & 1 Nephew, Eli.
He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Thomas; maternal grandfather, George Dumont and paternal grandparents: Eugene & Irene Thomas.
The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Tom Shrum will officiate.
