The Penguins had the day off yesterday. Their next game is Thursday against New Jersey at PPG Paints Arena. Yesterday, the team activated forward Drew O’Connor from the injured list. He’s been out since January 15th with a suspected collapsed lung.
Forward Radim Zohorna was optioned to Scranton/Wilkes Barre. Defenseman Mark Friedman was also sent down for a conditioning assignment. He’s been a healthy scratch for the past eighteen games and 38 of the last 39.
