On Tuesday night, the White Township Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee held a special meeting where they invited the public to make suggestions on how to improve the township.
Over 20 people packed the conference room at the S&T Bank Arena at the White Township Recreation complex for the meeting. Along with the planned discussion topics, including how to make streets safe, a proposed amphitheater at the Rec Complex, expansion at Kennedy-King park, and a proposed change to the intersection of Oakland Avenue and Lenz Road, suggestions from the audience included restrooms at Kennedy-King Park and possibly adding a pickleball court at the S&T Bank Arena.
