The Marion Center School Board will meet tonight for its monthly work session, and there is a lot on the agenda to discuss.
One of the issues that the school board will discuss tonight is the ARIN intermediate unit budget and the district’s adoption of that budget at their regular meeting next week. The total budget comes to $3,323,887. Marion Center’s portion of that budget comes to $47,191, which is a reduction of $68 over last year’s contribution.
The board will also discuss the district’s budget, as business manager Richard Martini will give an update on the budget process.
The board will also look at revising the district calendar this year to change March 18th and May 6th from Emergency Weather Days to regular in-person class days to make up for snow days on January 18th and February 4th.
The board will also honor the Marion Center Cross Country team for its success in 2021.
The meeting will start at 7:00 tonight at the Marion Center High School Library.
