State police from the Kittanning Barracks have charged a man with disorderly conduct for a road-rage incident yesterday in Kittanning Borough.
Troopers say they were dispatched at 4:46 PM on Thursday for a reported road-rage incident in the parking lot and alley near Balcony Towers on South McKean Street. That’s where 78-year-old George Yockey of Kittanning brake-checked a 40-year-old Kittanning man who was driving behind him, trying to cause a crash. Yockey then stopped his vehicle, blocking the victim’s parking space. He allegedly got out of the car, went over the victim’s car and started to kick the driver’s side door, and yelled at the victim.
Yockey was charged with harassment and disorderly conduct. Citations were filed through district court.
