The District 6 basketball tournament brackets released yesterday are heavily-seasoned with Heritage Conference teams.

Three games on Monday’s schedule feature teams from the Heritage Conference. The Double-A 8th-seeded Purchase Line girls will play West Branch. River Valley will travel to Bald Eagle Area and Northern Cambria will play at Bellwood Antis in boys Triple-A games.
On Tuesday, River Valley, the number two seed in Girls Triple-A, will host Huntingdon.
Wednesday’s action features boys Double-A number two seed Penns Manor hosting West Branch and number three United welcoming Bishop McCort. Fourth seed West Shamokin will host number five Southern Huntingdon. In Triple A, if the River Valley boys win their first game, they will play top seed Bishop Guilfoyle, while Northern Cambria could potentially play at number two Richland.
On Thursday, the girls Double-A opens its bracket. Number two seed Homer Center will welcome Juniata Valley. Number three Penns Manor hosts Southern Huntingdon, and number five United will visit Bellwood Antis. Should Purchase Line beat West Branch on Monday, they would play at top seed Bishop McCort on Thursday.
