Sidney Crosby hit a historic milestone last night at PPG Paints Arena and the Penguins added to the good vibes with a come-from-behind overtime win over Philadelphia.

Coach Mike Sullivan was as thrilled as everyone else to see the captain score number 500.
Sullivan says he told his players between the second and third periods that their reaction to a two-goal deficit would say a lot about them.

Defenseman Kris Letang, who along with Evgeni Malkin has played 16 seasons with Crosby, says the entire team was excited when Crosby buried the puck with a power play goal behind Flyers’ goalie Carter Hart.
Chad Ruhwedel’s first goal of the season came in his 200th career game and Letang’s game-winner was his eighth career overtime winner for the Penguins.
The Pens will play the Maple Leafs in Toronto tomorrow night.
