Fire crews from Indiana and Homer City fire departments were on the scene this morning for a small fire at the S&T Bank Headquarters in Downtown Indiana.
The call went out at 10:17 AM for a structure fire at the bank’s building in the 800 block of Philadelphia Street. Indiana Fire Assistant Chief Lee Thompson said that an air handler in the building’s heating and air conditioning system had caught fire. By the time crews arrived, the fire was mostly taken care of by building maintenance personnel.
All staff were evacuated as a precaution.
