The IUP women needed extra time – and then more extra time – to beat a determined Slippery Rock team last night at the KCAC.

Coach Tom McConnell says his ladies toughed it out against a good team.
McConnell says every game will be a challenge from this point on.
The IUP teams will play a doubleheader tomorrow night at Edinboro, and then return home for three straight doubleheaders over the next week, against Seton Hill on Saturday, Clarion next Wednesday, and UPJ on February 26th to close out the regular season.
