RIVER VALLEY TUNES UP FOR HERITAGE CONFERENCE SEMIFINAL
If River Valley’s girls needed a confidence boost heading into tonight’s game against Penns Manor, their win last night over the top-ranked team in District 6 Double-A would provide it. Julia Potts put up her best night of the season, scoring 18 points and pulling down 14 rebounds. Ava Persichetti scored 16 points, Isabel Pynos 13, and Hannah Artley had 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Panthers coach Ric Brown said it was a huge comeback win and an important one for River Valley to hold onto the number two spot in the Triple-A standings, but the girls know they need to focus on getting themselves mentally ready for Penns Manor.
