“SOUPER BOWL” TO BE HELD TODAY TO BENEFIT UNITED WAY

Today, many people will have soup today as part of the “Souper Bowl” benefit for the United Way of Indiana County.

Three area restaurants will be battling it out for the trophy, with the winner based on sales.  Reigning champion C.H. Fields Craft Kitchen at the Hilton Garden Inn returns with their Beer Cheese Soup with Pretzel Crouton and Sausage and Kale soup.  Chicken Pastina and Spicy Tomato Gorgonzola will be offered by Nap’s Cucina Mia.  Potato Cheddar and Red Lentil soups will be offered by Romeo’s Pizzaria and Mediterranean Kitchen.

Money raised from today’s soup sales will go to the United Way of Indiana County’s annual campaign, which will help out the group’s member agencies.  Once again, this year’s soup sale will be pick up only from 11 AM to 3 PM at the Hilton Garden Inn.  The meal includes soup, bread, cookie and a drink, and they are asking for a donation of $7 per order.
