Steelers President Art Rooney II has confirmed that General Manager Kevin Colbert will step down after the 2022 NFL Draft when his contract expires in May.
Colbert has been with the Black and Gold for 22 years. He started as the director of Football operations in 2000. Rooney said that Colbert may have an ongoing role with the team after the NFL draft, but they will be conducting a search for a new GM immediately, but the hire will not be made until after the draft.
