The River Valley girls and United met last night in a key game on the Road to the KCAC, with the Panthers winning it. (56-47)

With the win, River Valley is 7-3 in the Heritage Conference West. Homer-Center is 7-1 and United falls to 6-3. On the Road to the KCAC presented by First Commonwealth Bank, River Valley has one conference game left, against West Shamokin next week. Homer-Center plays a tough Purchase Line team tonight, then West Shamokin tomorrow night, ending the conference season next week at United. The Lions also have a game at West Shamokin next week.
In the East, Penns Manor is in control, with a 9-1 record after beating Purchase Line last night, 56-34. Megan Dumm had her third triple double of the year with 18 points, 15 rebounds, and ten steals. Kate Hnatko had 13 points and Alyssa Altemus added 12. Bethany Smith scored 13 and Madison Scalese 12 for the Red Dragons.
The Comets have clinched first place in the division, with the Red Dragons battling Marion Center for the second spot in the semifinals. Each has four conference wins.
Marion Center drubbed Northern Cambria, 75-14 last night. Lydia Miller scored 20 points and Kaelee Elkin 16 for the Stingers.
