The Pitt Panthers return to action tonight against Syracuse at the Petersen Events Center. Pitt is 7-12 and only 2-6 in the ACC. The Panthers have lost five of their past seven games, including the last two, to Virginia and Clemson. Syracuse is 9-10 and 3-5 in the ACC. They beat Pitt, 77-61 on January 11th. Tonight’s game is on the air at 7:30, tipping off at 8 on WCCS.
Legendary college basketball broadcaster Dick Vitale is taking the rest of the season off to rest as he prepares for vocal cord surgery. Vitale says his doctors have told him to give his voice “an even longer T.O., baby!”
