More honors yesterday for Steelers’ stars TJ Watt and Cam Heyward. They were both named yesterday to the Pro Football Writers of America All-NFL team. The team also includes former Pitt star defensive tackle Aaron Donald of the Rams, who was named for the seventh time, and former Penn State star Micah Parsons of the Cowboys, who makes the All-NFL team in his rookie season.
Watt and Heyward were the only Steelers named to the All-NFL team and the All-AFC team.

Tom Brady said on his weekly “Let’s Go” podcast yesterday that whether or not he plays next year is not entirely his decision. He told host Jim Gray he plans to “spend a lot of time” with his wife and children before deciding what he wants to do. The Tampa Bay quarterback and seven-time Super Bowl winner has one year left on his contract.
Green Bay head coach Matt LaFleur says the Packers want Aaron Rodgers to return next season after their disappointing loss Saturday in the NFC Division Playoffs. LaFleur met with Rodgers yesterday and said he won’t rush him into making a decision.
And New Orleans Saints owner Gayle Benson said Monday that coach Sean Payton may not return next season. He added it’s Payton’s decision to make.
