The slick roads on Sunday may have been responsible for a rash of vehicle accidents reported by Indiana County 911.
The first crash of the day was reported at 2:56 PM on Route 156 in Armstrong Township. Elderton fire department was called out for the crash. The second was reported about a half-hour later in Brush Valley Township, as a crash was reported on Route 56 East. Brush Valley fire crews were dispatched at that point. Then the Clyde fire department was called out at 3:38 PM for a crash on Bowser Road in West Wheatfield Township.
About 30 minutes after that, Brush Valley would be called out for their second vehicle crash of the day. This time, the crash was on Route 954 South in Brush Valley Township. The final reported crash of the day was reported at 9:43 PM on Moretti Road in Washington Township. The Commodore Fire Department was called out at the time.
State police were also called out for each of the crashses yesterday. They have not yet released any accident reports on these incidents.
