Earlier this week, the Indiana County Development Corporation held its annual meeting and recognized two of its long-time members for their distinguished service.
The board recognized outgoing president James Wiley, who has been actively involved in the organization’s activities for over 30 years. During the last 16 years, Wiley has served as the ICDC president and helped deliver on several successful projects. Among them the 280 Indian Springs Office Building, Windy Ridge Business and Technology Park, and the Joseph Land Development/119 Business park among others. He also helped secure the relocation of Creps United Publications to Windy Ridge after Creps’ former facility was destroyed in a fire in October of 2012, and he was also a part of the team that brought the URBN distribution center to Windy Ridge.
Similar recognition was given to Dr. Geoffrey Mills, interim dean of the Eberly College of Business at IUP.
Also during the meeting, the new ICDC board of directors officers were announced. Joe Reschini will serve as the ICDC President, while Frank Holuta will serve as assistant treasurer. Carson Greene, Jr. was also elected to a three-year term as director emeritus.
