Coming off a 2-1 overtime win over San Jose Saturday night, the Penguins put in a workout
yesterday in advance of tonight’s game against Vegas. The Pens have given up more than forty shots in each of their last two games, a loss to the Kings and the win over the Sharks, and coach Mike Sullivan says they have lost their way a bit during their six-game road trip.
Sullivan says he’s confident the team will find their game again.
Evgeni Malkin and Drew O’Connor did not practice yesterday. Sullivan said they each had “maintenance” days. Jason Zucker skated with the team after having missed time with an undisclosed injury. Sullivan has so many players on hand now, with returning injured players and a taxi squad, that he actually ran two practices yesterday.
