River Valley got off to a fast start, but West Shamokin responded with a run of its own as the Wolves knocked off the Panthers last night.

In Armagh last night, United allowed Homer Center only five points in the first half and handled the Wildcats, 58-21. The Lions outscored Homer Center 23-3 in the first quarter as Brad Felix scored 10 of his game-high 18 in the first two quarters. Felix was the only player for either team in double figures.
Penns Manor held off Cambria Heights, 63-58.
Marion Center beat Purchase Line, 63-46.
WPIAL BOYS BASKETBALL
Indiana fell to Highlands in a section game, 77-32. Ethan Kutz led the Little Indians with 10 points. Indiana is 2-7 overall, and 0-4 in Section 4.
HERITAGE CONFERENCE WRESTLING
River Valley downed Cambria Heights, 36-22. Kaden Barnhart, Cole Stuchal, Quinton Witmer, and Brad Miller all won in falls for the Panthers. For Cambria Heights, Gage Shook won his match on points.
RIFLE
Indiana Rifle lost to Butler by a score of 770-29x to Butler’s 799-57x. Top shooter for Indiana was Sophia Faulkner with a 99-5x. Their record is 1-6 overall, 0-3 in the section and they’ll be shooting in a virtual match against Woodland Hills on January 13.
