Fresh from a 69-67 win Saturday over Boston College, the Pitt Panthers travel to Syracuse tomorrow night.
Panthers coach Jeff Capel has gotten a verbal commitment for the Pitt recruiting class of 2023, with 6-6 forward Marlon Barnes Jr. announcing his decision over the weekend. He’s from Lyndhurst, Ohio and is a junior at Brush High School, where he played his freshman season with Pitt sophomore center John Hugley. Rivals.com rates Barnes as a four-star prospect and the 79th overall player in the class of ’23.
