INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
A man from Venetia in Washington County is charged with counterfeiting in Indiana Borough from late November. Police say that on November 25th, 34-year-old Jason Wagner of Venetia went into the Sheetz on Wayne Avenue at the Point and used counterfeit money to pay for some merchandise, receiving the items and change for the fake bill. A criminal complaint has been filed through District Judge Guy Haberl’s office.
Indiana borough police are investigating a theft from a “common area” on North 8th Street in late December. This happened between 7 PM on December 28th and 7 AM the next day. Police say that someone took a double baby stroller from the “00” block of North 8th. Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call Indiana Borough Police at 724-349-2121.
