Indiana County’s schools continue to deal with covid-19 cases, but none have been forced to alter their educational platform yet.
Indiana Area was notified yesterday of seven more positive cases, three at the high school, one at the Junior High, two at East Pike Elementary, and one at Horace Mann Elementary. Four of the seven will be added to the rolling fourteen-day average. And four additional students and staff will be quarantining.
Penns Manor reported six new cases yesterday. They include two high school students and two elementary students, and an employee at each school as well. All were in school this week.
At Purchase Line, there are currently one student and one staff member on the covid-19 list both at the elementary school.
River Valley’s current list include four students at Blairsville Elementary, two students and an employee at the high school, and one employee at the Saltsburg Elementary and the middle school.
Marion Center added three new cases at the high school yesterday and one at the Rayne Elementary.
Homer-Center has one infection in a student at the high school and in a staff member at the elementary school.
United reports no new cases of covid-19.
