As we enter the last week of 2021, Indiana County is one of several counties that will be under a winter weather advisory today.
The advisory will run through 1:00 this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service for Indiana, Jefferson, Forest, Venango and Clarion Counties. The cold temperatures expected this morning could bring about some slippery road conditions, which could impact the morning commute. Drivers are advised to slow down and use caution while driving this morning. The latest road conditions can be obtained by calling 511 before you go, or checking out the 511 PA app or logging on to 511PA.com
Pedestrians are also asked to take it easy on steps and sidewalks and driveways. The surfaces could be slippery and increase the risk of a fall or injury.
After today, temperatures are expected to warm up and go into the mid 50’s by the mid-week. A complete check of your Accuweather forecast is coming up in a few minutes.
