Guard Jamarius Burton hit a floater with .4 seconds left to give Pitt a 59-57 win over St. John’s at Madison Square Garden on Saturday.
Burton raced down the court with an inbounds pass and made the game-winner after St. John’s Dylan Addea-Wusu made two free throws to tie the game.
Burton led all scorers in the game with 20 points for Pitt (4-7). Mouhamadou Gueye scored 15 for the Panthers.
