Pitt Athletic Director Heather Lyke says talks are ongoing for a contract extension for football coach Pat Narduzzi. His current deal expires in 2024, but Narduzzi was mentioned often as a possibility for other schools searching for a coach this offseason.
Narduzzi is 53-36 in seven years at Pitt, and is fourth all-time in wins. He is 36-17 with two Coastal Division titles and this year’s conference championship in the ACC.
11-2 Pitt is preparing for the Peach Bowl on December 30th against Michigan State in Atlanta.
