The Purchase Line School Board will meet tonight, with a number of personnel items on the agenda. Included among them are some coaching positions for spring sports, including head coaches and assistants for baseball, softball, and track & field. Other personnel items include some involving support staff, a custodian, and bus drivers.
There will be a motion to request proposals for upgrading the district’s fiber build-out, including a better connection between the high school and elementary buildings. The board will also vote on a bid for the high school auditorium sound system.
The budget will also be up for discussion, and the board will vote on a motion to hold any potential tax increase to no more than the state-approved index.
Indiana Area’s Buildings & Grounds Committee is also scheduled to meet tonight, with the discussion to focus on the possible elementary school reconfiguration.
