Face to face classes are set to resume on Monday after the holiday weekend wraps up.
IUP announced that after Thanksgiving recess ends on the 28th, face-to-face classes and activities will resume on campus as scheduled, while virtual and distance-learning classes will also resume as scheduled.
IUP’s health service also announced that when classes resume, they will also resume their activities, which include vaccinations for flu and covid-19. The vaccines are free for students and employees. Covid-19 testing will also be available Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 1 PM for students and employees until the IUP Health Service closes for the semester on December 10th.
It should be noted that the PA Department of Health reports that 33,824 people in Indiana County have been vaccinated against Covid-19. That statistic is as of November 23rd, on the final day of the office’s operations before their Thanksgiving break. Another 3,777 have only received their first dose, while another 9,412 have received their booster.
